Hoorsenbuhs

Los Angeles-based Hoorsenbuhs [horse-en-boo] was founded in 2005 and named after a 16th-century Dutch trading ship. Photographer-turned-jewelry designer Robert Keith and his partner, Kether Parker, specialize in fine gold pieces embellished with the house’s signature tri-link motif: an image taken directly from the chain of the anchor of the aforementioned Dutch ship, which Keith’s ancestors traveled on as they made their way to America. Drawing inspiration from ‘70s-era jewelry—substantive gold heirloom pieces meant to be passed on from generation to generation—the tri-link motif is now Hoorsenbuhs’ signature emblem, symbolizing strength, quality and continuous opulence. It can be found woven throughout the collection, evolving into sculptural rings, weighty gold cuffs, chains, and padlocks. An American Heritage brand that transcends trends in lieu of classic craftsmanship, each piece instantly becoming a modern heirloom, designed to stand the test of time.
