The Loupe's First-Ever Men's Designer Event: Modern Heirlooms for the Modern Man

The Loupe's First-Ever Men's Designer Event: Modern Heirlooms for the Modern Man

Last weekend marked a bold new chapter at The Loupe: our inaugural Men’s Designer Event—a four-day celebration of craftsmanship, style, and elevated gifting timed perfectly ahead of Father’s Day. From Thursday through Sunday, The Loupe transformed into a destination for discerning collectors and gift givers alike, spotlighting three iconic names in fine men’s jewelry: Hoorsenbuhs, Milamore, and Shamballa Jewels.

A Weekend of Firsts

This was more than a trunk show. It was our first dedicated men’s jewelry event, complete with curated experiences, designer meet-and-greets, and exclusive activations. It brought together an incredible community of style-seekers and tastemakers, offering the chance to explore exceptional design and discover meaningful gifts for Father’s Day—or something remarkable for yourself.

Hoorsenbuhs Kicked Things Off

The festivities began Thursday with the return of Hoorsenbuhs, the California-based brand known for its iconic tri-link designs and luxurious attitude. Guests browsed the full collection—including rings, bracelets, chains, and accessories—and joined us Thursday evening for a standout happy hour co-hosted with Billy’s Sushi, bringing bold bites and bold design together in perfect harmony.

Milamore Makes a Statement

On Friday and Saturday, guests had the rare opportunity to meet George Inaki Root, founder of Milamore, whose work draws deeply from his Spanish-Filipino and Japanese heritage. His pieces—rooted in the Japanese art of Kintsugi, the practice of mending broken pottery with gold—speak to resilience, individuality, and imperfection as beauty. Root’s presence added a thoughtful dimension to the event, as he shared his story and vision with clients one-on-one.

Shamballa Jewels: Crafted with Intention

Also joining the weekend lineup: Shamballa Jewels, who brought their signature mix of luxury and mindfulness to the event. On Thursday and Friday, guests explored their trunk show and engaged in custom braiding sessions, selecting colored cords and beaded elements to create personalized bracelets rooted in self-expression and spirituality.

Saturday Night Soirée

The weekend culminated in a festive Saturday evening cocktail party, co-hosted by Loupe client and Interior Designer Shane Spencer. Originally set in our alleyway, a passing rainstorm brought the party inside—but didn’t dampen the mood. Guests enjoyed seasonal bites from Chef Gavin Kaysen, signature cocktails crafted by Marco Zappia, and a night of mingling, shopping, and summer styling.

A New Tradition Begins

Whether you came to shop for Father’s Day, build your personal collection, or simply celebrate craftsmanship in good company, our Men’s Designer Event delivered on all fronts. It was an incredible showcase of artistry, culture, and style—one that we look forward to making an annual tradition.

Missed the event? Stay tuned. The Loupe has more up its sleeve this summer.
