A Night to Remember with Silvia Furmanovich

A Night to Remember with Silvia Furmanovich

Last Friday, The Loupe hosted an enchanting evening in collaboration with Artful Living Magazine that will be fondly remembered as one of our most extraordinary gatherings of the year. Our annual Silvia Furmanovich Trunk Show culminated in an exclusive client dinner at the Minneapolis Institute of Art, a venue that brought its timeless elegance and artistic spirit to this intimate affair.

Fifty of our cherished clients and friends gathered after dark to celebrate Silvia Furmanovich’s unparalleled artistry in a setting that felt both grand and personal. The evening began with a warm welcome featuring a bespoke cocktail bar curated by none other than Marco Zappia, whose imaginative libations set the tone for an inspired night. The Nelson Devereaux Trio filled the space with smooth, sophisticated sounds, elevating the atmosphere and creating an aura of relaxed refine

The dinner, expertly catered by Brooke Faudree, was a feast for the senses. The tables were adorned with an expansive display of Silvia Furmanovich's jewelry and home pieces, presented in an artistic tablescape that blended seamlessly with a stunning floral installation by Arts & Flowers. Each place setting included a hand mirror, inviting guests to interact with the one-of-a-kind creations, try them on, and spark meaningful conversation over their beauty and craftsmanship. It was a gesture that embodied the spirit of The Loupe—making luxury and art personal, tactile, and deeply memorable.

A highlight of the evening came when Valéria Piccoli, the Ken and Linda Cutler Chair of the Arts of the Americas and curator of Latin American Art at Mia, offered a heartfelt toast to Silvia Furmanovich. She celebrated Silvia's artistic achievements, her deep connection to her Brazilian heritage, and her recent generous donation of a breathtaking marquetry box to the museum’s Latin American collection. It was a poignant moment that brought together two women from São Paulo, bonded by their shared passion for preserving and celebrating art.

The evening was a triumph, blending fine art, exceptional jewelry, and thoughtful hospitality into a cohesive celebration of creativity and connection. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event unforgettable. For those unable to attend, the Silvia Furmanovich trunk show continues through this week—stop by The Loupe to explore her latest collection of wearable and collectible masterpieces.

Stay tuned for more extraordinary events from The Loupe—we can’t wait to host you again soon.
