Last weekend, The Loupe had the honor of welcoming internationally acclaimed Greek jewelry designer Nikos Koulis to Minneapolis for an unforgettable trunk show event. From October 17 to 19, clients and jewelry enthusiasts gathered to explore Koulis’ mesmerizing creations, which showcased his mastery of craftsmanship and innovative design. The highlight of the weekend was an intimate dinner at Mara, where select clients had the rare opportunity to meet the designer in person and enjoy a curated Mediterranean-inspired menu in the private Mistral room.

Nikos Koulis' celebrated collections, Spectrum, and ME+N, took center stage during the trunk show, dazzling attendees with their elegance and unique designs.

An Exclusive Evening at Mara's Mistral Private Room
After the excitement of the trunk show, select clients were invited to a private dinner at Mara, Chef Gavin Kaysen’s Mediterranean-inspired restaurant at the Four Seasons. The dinner was held in Mistral, Mara’s intimate private dining room, which provides the perfect setting for memorable gatherings. Enclosed by full-length drapes and sliding glass doors, Mistral’s floor-to-ceiling windows and hand-blown glass lighting created a magical ambiance for the evening.
James Beard Award-winning chef and local favorite, Chef Gavin Kaysen, designed a Mediterranean-inspired menu that transported guests across coastal regions with each dish. The flavors, techniques, and stories of 22 Mediterranean countries were seamlessly interwoven into the meal, making the dinner a delightful exploration of taste and culture to help make Nikos feel right at home here in Minneapolis.
As guests enjoyed the carefully curated courses, they also had the rare chance to engage with Nikos Koulis, who shared insights into his creative process and inspiration. The evening was a celebration of artistry and connection, providing a deeper look into Koulis’ world and the traditions that inform his modern designs.
